Do you appreciate caring friends of Prov. 17:17? I think I will be one for you.

If you were given the opportunity to ask God a question, which question will u like to ask him?

I, on my part will ask him when the end of this present system of things will really come because I am tired of Satan and his system. And so, I am very anxious to see the earth becoming the promised paradise of Rev. 21:3, 4 and Ps. 37:10-11, 29.

MOSES was different. He chose to ask a question that might surprise you. He didn’t ask about himself, his future, and the plight of mankind. But the question he asked has a deep meaning. It affects all of us and can help us to draw ever closer to God.

Remember Moses at the burning bush. At the age of 80, Jah had him to go back to Egypt to save his people there. Then Moses asked God the question found at Exo. 3:13. <u>He wanted to know God’s name</u>.

As a Hebrew, God’s personal name wasn’t new to Moses. Before him, people like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for instance, had been using the name. But he was asking about the meaning, the person represented by the name. It’s like he was asking: “What can I tell your people about you that will build their faith in you and convince them that you really will deliver them?”

How wise and intelligent Moses was!

Jehovah, despite his supremacy, his position as the most high of the universe, has always been wonderful in his dealing with imperfect humans. He is so adaptable, so good, so merciful…

Exo. 3:14 tells us that he in turn explained to Moses the meaning of his name.

“I shall prove to be what I shall prove to be”

Jah here wasn’t simply affirming that he exist, but was teaching Moses and us today what that name implies. It’s like he was telling Moses: “<u>He would cause himself to become whatever was needed in order to fulfill his promises</u> or <u>whatever the situation or need, God will become the solution to that need</u> or again, to the Israelites, <u>No matter what obstacle loomed before them, no matter how difficult the situation they might find themselves in, Jehovah will become whatever was needed in order to deliver them from slavery and bring them into the promised land</u>”.

Things happened exactly according to the meaning of God’s name.

Yes, the true God did become whatever was needed for Israel salvation. Does this account not inspire in us confidence in Jehovah?

Who again in the universe apart from Jehovah can say and it happens just so? None!

Jehovah is unique. No matter how difficult our situation in these last days is, Jah will become whatever we need in order to deliver us from Satan’s system to the promised new earth. Ps. 9:10/Numb. 23:19.

The more we learn about Jah and all what he has done and is still to do, let all these draw us ever more closer to Jehovah and reinforce our relationship with him. Act. 17:27/Jms 4:8.

our provider Mat. 6:33
Unlike Pharaoh, you and I are different. For, we happily and unitedly worship this God whose name is Jehovah. Ps. 144:15.
Don't you see it wonderful to be in contact with the king of the universe? What of uncounted blessings we receive from him everyday?
All is wonderful with Jehovah God...

I like what you wrote about the difference between us and Pharaoh. it would be very unwise to act like that king of Egypt. What a privilege to be counted among those praising His name and upholding His Sovreignity!!!
